Navgrah Yantra

The Navgrah Yantra is a sacred geometric diagram dedicated to the nine planets (Navgraha) of Vedic astrology — Surya (Sun), Chandra (Moon), Mangal (Mars), Budh (Mercury), Guru (Jupiter), Shukra (Venus), Shani (Saturn), Rahu, and Ketu. Unlike single-planet yantra, it balances the combined influence of all nine planets in a birth chart, making it one of the most comprehensive remedies in Vedic astrology.

When one or more planets are weak or afflicted, it can create imbalances leading to obstacles across health, wealth, career, and relationships. The Navgrah Yantra is worshipped to harmonize these planetary energies, reducing malefic effects while amplifying benefic influences.

The Navgraha Mantra, combining beej mantras for each planet, is the most recommended:

"Om Suryaya Namah, Om Chandraya Namah, Om Bhaumaya Namah, Om Budhaya Namah, Om Gurave Namah, Om Shukraya Namah, Om Shanaischaraya Namah, Om Rahave Namah, Om Ketave Namah"

• Chant this 108 times daily, ideally in the early morning, facing East.
• A simpler alternate mantra for daily worship is:
• "Om Navgrahaya Namah"
• Lighting nine diyas or offering nine different coloured flowers, one for each planet, is also considered auspicious.

• Direction – Place it in the North-East direction, the most sacred zone in Vastu Shastra.
• Pooja Room – Best placed in the pooja room with other deities, facing East during worship.
• Central Living Area (Brahmasthan) – Also considered highly beneficial for overall balance.
• Height and Cleanliness – Keep at a respectable height, never on the floor, in a clean space.
• Avoid – Bathroom, staircase, or storeroom.
• Facing Direction – Face East or North while chanting, worshipping consistently every day.
